Collaborations Dr Brantom was the Manager of the Centre for Toxicology at the University of Surrey, Guildford, for more than 3 years and has retained links with the Centre. The Centre is conceived to bring focus to the toxicological activities of the School of Biomedical and Life sciences and runs a very popular course for managers in the fundamentals of toxicology.
Recent experience As a registered European Toxicologist Dr Brantom has worked for numerous companies and organisations in various capacities relating to toxicological evaluation and registration of products. He is currently a member of the UK Veterinary Products Committee(VPC), Veterinary Residues Committee (VRC), Advisory Committee on Animal Feedingstuffs (ACAF), Advisory Committee on Novel Foods and Processes (ACNFP) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) Panel on Additives to Animal Feed (FEEDAP).
